no but you can make whatever you want with the strumming pattern. also FYI you don't need to learn bar chords neccessarily as they are a dumbed down version of what you already seem to know. You get a louder sound but not fuller.. it's easy as crap to learn and as such that's why punk music is criticised so greatly. It's like 2 or 3 power chords pver and over again. i would say stick with what you are learning and maybe learn to finger pick. ;)
