Question about John 6:35-66?

Yes. All Christians should take John 6 literally. If you'll notice, when He said "eat my flesh and drink my blood", people were in shock that he was saying such a thing and they left because they wouldn't do it. If it was merely symbolic, what reason would they have for disliking the command - one that He repeated multiple times? Studying the Greek reveals even better that Jesus was being quite literal.
