Should I choose art for my fifth option?

For my options for year 10 I'm choosing textiles, child development, geography and French. But I dunno what to choose for my reserve choice, I most probably wont get it but I still want to make a good decision in case I do. I was thinking about choosing art but then my mum said that I shouldn't because I'm not that good at it. I love art and I got a 5a in my last piece of work but I'm not sure if I'm good enough to do art for GCSE.
