Who out there doesn't like Battle Royale?

I love this movie! Battle Royale is a Japanese film directed by Kinji Fukasaku about middle school students who are abducted and forced to kill one another on a secluded island in the middle of the Pacific. The last one to survive is the winner and gets to leave the island. The reason I ask this question is because everyone I know who has seen it, or the people I have lent my copy out to, always come back with the same response, "it's freakin' awesome!" I was just wondering if there are actually living people out there in the world who have seen this movie and actually disliked it or even worse, hated it. And for people who haven't seen it...please watch it before New Line Cinemas ruins it with (what I can image being) a crappy remake.
