Why did Democrat Senate candidate Richard Blumenthal lie about having served int he Vietnam war?

He has no integrity, no personal honor and no credibility. He should go home and hide in shame for the rest of his days, unless he has some kind of excuse worth listening to. He owes a serious apology for all the men and women who did go to Viet Nam.
