Yes, but the research says nothing on what percentage of spouses are actually aware of the cheating taking place. When you talk about "surviving" cheating, the umption is that the other partner knows. If they don't know, there's nothing to "survive", and this can be one of these instances where something you don't know about can't hurt you.
